The Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Gadjah Mada hosted a guest lecture titled Insect Resistance Management on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. The session featured Dr. Srinivas Parimi from Provivi Inc. as the keynote speaker, who shared insights on strategies to manage insect resistance in support of sustainable agriculture. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, with an offline session held at the Venture Room, AGLC 6th Floor, Faculty of Agriculture UGM, limited to 45 participants, and an online session via Zoom to accommodate a wider audience. The lecture attracted strong interest from students and agricultural practitioners due to the increasing importance of effective pest management in modern farming systems.
