Field Practicum is an essential part of learning, providing hands-on experience and real-world insights. It allows students to apply classroom knowledge in a practical setting, enhancing their skills and understanding through direct observation and participation.
Field Practicum of Insects Taxonomy and Systematic
The field practicum of Insects Taconomy and Systematic was to familiarize students with the fundamental techniques for collecting and preparing collections from Insecta class for use in entomological research.
To catch the insect, the student set out various traps, including light traps, pitfall traps, color-sticky traps, and Steiner traps. Hand picking, aspirators, and sugar bait were then used to catched the targeted insect.
