    Visit to Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Science, Diponegoro University

    This visit to the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Science, Diponegoro University, was to promote the master’s and doctoral study programs in the Department of Plant Protection (HPT), namely the Master in Phytopathology and Master in Pest Science and the Doctorate in Agricultural Science majoring in Phytopathology and Pest Science. The event was held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The HPT team that joined included Alan Soffan, S.P., M.Sc., Ph.D. (Secretary of the Department of Plant Protection), Ani Widiastuti, S.P., M.Sc., Ph.D. (Head of the Master in Phytopathology), Islaminati Anna Santika, S.P. (Master’s student in Phytopathology), and Yuni Apriliana, S.P. (Master’s student in Pest Science). The HPT team was warmly received and welcomed by the Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Science, Agus Setiadi, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D. Students who participated in the promotional activity were also quite enthusiastic. This was evident from the active participation of students in asking questions about the master’s and doctoral study programs. Furthermore, the HPT team also prepared souvenirs to be distributed to students who asked questions.     Socialization of Master in Pest Science UGM at BPTPH Yogyakarta

    Master in Pest Science UGM held socialization sessions with the Department of Pests and Plant Diseases (HPT), Faculty of Agriculture UGM, and agencies within the Ministry of Agriculture, namely the Center for the Protection of Food Crops and Horticulture (BPTPH) on Thursday, January 13, 2022. The socialization was held at BPTPH Pandak, Bantul, followed by five people from the HPT Department and approximately twenty-five people from BPTPH. Five people who participated from the HPT Department were the Head of the Department, namely Dr. Tri Joko, S.P., M.Sc., Head of the Phytopathology Masters Study Program, namely Ani Widiastuti, S.P., M.Sc., Ph.D., Head of the Plant Pest Masters Study Program, Dr. Suputa, S.P., M.P., Professor at the HPT Department, namely Prof. Ir. Achmadi Priyatmojo, M.Sc., Ph.D., and a part-time master’s degree student, Yuni Apriliana. Meanwhile, twenty-five people from BPTPH consist of POPT young experts and first experts, agricultural product quality supervisors to the head of the technical service section. The collaboration program aims to improve the quality of human resources within the Ministry of Agriculture and maintain the existence of the Master Program in Phytopathology and Plant Pest Science, Department of HPT. read more
