Curriculum 2024

The Master in Pest Science program UGM is implemented according to the Decree of Rector UGM No 2 and 7 Year 2023, with credit system measured in Satuan Kredit Semester (SKS, Credit Semester Unit (CSU)). The study load 56 credits equal to 93.52 European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), consists of lectures, seminar, research proposal, and research thesis. Students have to take 20 credits of compulsory courses, 8 credits of electives of specialization, 8 credits of elective courses, and 20 credits of thesis consisting of (proposal seminar, comprehensive examination, research, article paper, thesis manuscript, and final examination). One CSU consists of 45 hours per semester equal to 1.67 ECTS. Scientific publication is a graduation requirement based on the Chancellor’s Regulation No. 11 of 2016.
